Price Book Management
Price books are used to centralise the pricing strategy of products, sub products, options and chargeable Bill of Materials (BOMs). The following example provides a template for organising all elements of the product including, product line, product names, long/short descriptions, SKU (Stock Keeping Unit), one-off costs / none-recurring cost, subscription/monthly costs / monthly recurring costs. Some Price Books also provide a section for direct sales quoting and total contract value (revenue), total contract cost, total contract margin and 1st year revenue/cost/margin.
